Revanth to address campaign meet at Nizamabad, Mancherial, Karimnagar

Hyderabad: Chief minister A Revanth Reddy will participate in campaign meetings and address the gatherings at the hustings in Nizamabad, Mancherial, and Karimnagar districts on Monday for the MLC elections. The polling for one graduate and two teacher MLC constituencies is scheduled on Feb 27, and the counting of votes will be taken up on March 3.
With the polling date nearing, campaigning has reached its peak with union ministers from the BJP, state ministers from the Congress, MPs, MLCs, MLAs, and important leaders from various parties, mainly the two national parties of Congress and BJP, and independents in the electoral fray hitting the hustings. Congress leaders said the campaign meetings of CM Revanth are being organised by graduates and party activists.
As part of the campaign tour, the CM will leave Hyderabad by helicopter on Monday morning and reach Nizamabad at 11.30 am. He will participate in the campaign there. After the Nizamabad meeting, he will reach Mancherial at 2 pm and will address a campaign there. Then, he will go to Karimnagar at 4 pm and address a meeting there. The CM will campaign for V Narender Reddy, who is in the electoral fray from the Medak-Nizamabad-Adilabad-Karimnagar Graduates’ MLC constituency.
With the BRS opting to stay away from the MLC polls, both Congress and BJP, are going all out to win the Graduates’ constituency. However, BRS senior leader Sardar Ravinder Singh has entered the electoral fray from All India Forward Bloc. He exuded confidence in putting up a good show.
While the BJP is contesting all three MLC seats, the Congress has confined itself to only its sitting graduate constituency.
