Visakhapatnam: The Tamil Kalai Mandram in Visakhapatnam, representing the local Tamil community, recently organised a national seminar on Maharshi Agastya as part of the Kasi Tamil Sangamam initiative. According to the speakers, Maharshi Agastya, revered as the one who received the original Tamil language from Lord Shiva, is credited with grammatically structuring and spreading it across the world. The event featured BJP Tamil Nadu vice president Karu Nagaraajan, Vizag North MLA and BJP floor leader Vishnu Kumar Raju, and TDP MLA from Chodavaram KSSN Raju. This ancient language, rich in profound meanings and divine essence, is considered one of the oldest surviving languages, with its wisdom accepted and admired by scholars worldwide.
