Hyderabad: Over 75 employees from Wipro’s IT centre in Hyderabad rolled up their sleeves to revamp the Osmania General Hospital (OGH) as part of a corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative in collaboration with the Helping Hand Foundation (HHF).
The Wipro volunteers participated in painting the walls, doors, and windows of various wards, aiming to create a more welcoming and positive atmosphere for patients and caregivers. Their efforts focused on key areas, including the entrance, corridors of the outpatient (OP) block, the casualty corridor, the outpatient ramp, the orthopaedic OP, waiting areas, and the Quli Qutub Shah corridors.
Recognising the volunteers’ contribution, OGH superintendent Dr Rakesh Kumar Sahay, along with resident medical officers (RMOs) and health inspectors, attended the event and lauded the initiative. He acknowledged the collaborative efforts in improving the hospital’s infrastructure and patient experience.
