Bought the 66BHP paddock stand for my KTMs: Quick review

Bought the 66BHP paddock stand for my KTMs: Quick review BHPian mp417 recently shared this with other enthusiasts: Owning two KTMs comes with its own set of ‘premium’ challenges, like the chain cleaning at the ASC which is not cheap. So, I decided to embark on the noble path of DIY chain cleaning. My first attempt was with a roller-type stand. A handy little thing – perfect for touring since it fits in a bag, but it also comes with a bonus feature: the roller stand demands ‘helping hands,’ and since I’m not running a motorcycle pit crew at home, this was less ‘DIY’ and more ‘somebody please help me before I flip this bike.’ That’s when I decided it was time to level up and get a proper paddock stand. As a die-hard MotoGP fan, I’ve always admired how racing bikes look perched on those sleek stands, ready to go full throttle. There’s something emotional about it – a mix of aesthetics and aspiration. As usual, I checked online shopping. Scrolled, compared, rejected on various platforms. One was overpriced; another looked like it’d collapse anytime. Then I remembered LRL Motors. and I’ve always been impressed with their service. And there it was: the 66BHP Universal Motorcycle Paddock Stand. It ticked all the boxes. Got it for for 2299/- (and they threw in two oil lube sprays-bless their marketing team…more on the lubes in later post). With two KTMs in my garage, orange was a non-negotiable. The product was packed neatly and received it within 2 days. Here’s my mini Review of the 66BHP Paddock Stand:Universal Fit: It is suitable for almost any motorcycle.Build Quality: Made from CNC-bent 2.5 mm steel tubes, it offers excellent strength and stability. It definitely feels sturdy and robust.Swing Arm Support: High-quality PU material with rubberized cushions ensures a secure hold and protects the motorcycle from scratches. It has a nice 66bhp design as wellPremium Hardware: The wheels, nuts, and bolts are of premium quality.Paint Job: The gloss orange finish is of high quality, with no imperfections.Warranty: It comes with a 5-year warranty on the frame tubes, ensuring durability. I’m sure it will last multiple GenerationsI’ve used the stand four times so far. Mounting the bike solo is still a bit challenging for me and takes a few tries, but I am getting better with practice. Using a paddock stand has made the chain cleaning process much easier and more efficient. If you’re considering getting one, I highly recommend it. Hope this review helps!
