PM Kisan: Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the 19th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana from Bhagalpur in Bihar. Under this scheme, a total of more than 22,000 crore rupees were transferred to the bank accounts of 9.8 crore farmers. This scheme is being run with the aim of providing financial assistance to small and marginal farmers, so that they can easily meet the expenses related to farming.

6,000 rupees are given to farmers every year
Under this scheme, financial assistance of Rs 2,000 is given to eligible farmers every four months, so that they get a total of Rs 6,000 annually. This amount is directly transferred to their bank accounts, so that they can meet seeds, fertilizers and other agricultural needs.
9.6 crore farmers got benefits in 18th installment
According to Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, during the 18th installment, 9.6 crore farmers got the benefit of this scheme, while in the 19th installment, this number increased to 9.8 crore. This makes it clear that the scope of the scheme is continuously increasing and more farmers are taking advantage of this assistance.
3.46 lakh crore rupees have been distributed so far
The government has distributed Rs 3.46 lakh crore so far under this scheme. After the release of the 19th installment, this figure has increased to Rs 3.68 lakh crore. It has been formed the world’s largest direct benefit transfer (DBT) scheme, which is providing financial security to farmers.

How to check the status of PM Kisan Yojana?
If you want to know whether your installment has been released or not, then adopt the following process
- Go to the official website of PM farmer – pmkisan.gov.in
- Click on “Know Your Status”
- Select the “Beneficiary Status” option
- Enter registration number or mobile number
- Click on “Get Data” by filling the captcha code
- Your payment will be seen on the status screen
If your installment has been released, then the message of “Payment Successfully Credited” will be seen.
What to do if the money does not come?
If money is not deposited in your account, there may be some possible reasons and solutions:
Complete e-KYC
- Money can be stuck without e-KYC.
- Complete this from the nearest Common Service Center (CSC) or online portal.
Verify bank details
- Check the IFSC code and Aadhaar linking in the bank account.
- In case of an error, go to the bank and get the information updated.
