Hyderabad: The Chandanagar police arrested three persons for allegedly murdering a car driver on Saturday. The arrested include Mohd Faqruddin (28), Mohd Burhaan (44) and Mohammed Kaleem (38), while two others Azhar and Mohammed Ali are absconding.
The victim Mohd Naseer (41), a resident of Papireddy colony in Chandanagar was a friend of the prime suspect Faqruddin, a resident of Nehrunagar, Chandanagar. A few days ago, father of Faqruddin suffered a paralysis attack. Also, Faqruddin was suffering from health issues and the man began suspecting that Naseer was performing witchcraft on their family.
“Faqruddin roped in a rowdy sheeter Burhaan to settle the issue. On Friday night, they called Naseer to discuss the issue and took him to a secluded place at Gopinagar Cheruvu where all the five suspects attacked him with sticks leading to death of Naseer,” said DCP Madhupur, Dr G Vineeth.
Faqruddin, Burhaan and Kaleem were arrested and remanded while efforts are continuing to nab Azhar and Mohammed Ali.
