Vijayawada: A tragic road accident claimed the lives of a woman and her daughter near Gorantla in Guntur. The accident occurred when a speeding lorry collided with them while they were crossing the road.
According to police, the impact was severe, and both victims died on the spot. The deceased were identified as Vinjamuri Nagalakshmi (38) and her daughter Vinjamuri Charanya (14). They were residents of the Tidco Apartments in Adivi Thakkellapadu in Guntur.
Upon receiving the information, Nallapadu police rushed to the scene and conducted a preliminary investigation. The bodies were later shifted to the Guntur Govt Hospital for post-mortem examination.
Police registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident.
