Hyderabad: Thieves broke into a grocery store and decamped with counter cash worth Rs 7 lakh at Gandhinagar in Uppal.
According to the police, the thieves had damaged the shutters and sneaked into the shop on February 23 and committed theft of the cash from the drawer.
The workers of the store, who came on Wednesday, found the shop burgled and informed the police.
The Uppal police booked a case and took up the investigation. The CCTV footage in the surroundings is being examined to identify and nab the burglars.
