Salman Khan’s highly-anticipated film ‘Sikandar’ is all set to hit the theatres this Eid, with the aim to bring Salman to the big screen in all his glory.
Directed by A.R. Murugadoss, the film has its release date set for March 28th and features Rashmika Mandanna alongside Salman as the female lead.

With his previous films like ‘Antim’, ‘Radhe’, and ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ becoming disastrous flops, Bhaijaan will be looking to end the streak of droughts with Sikandar.
He may as well succeed in it, owing to the fact that a director like Murugadoss is handling the helms of the project.

Although many are expecting the film to do good, it can only do so if the acting and direction go hand in hand.
The teaser for the film was released a few days back, and it failed to silence the critics as it looked more like an ad shoot than a proper teaser.

The poster release also turned out to be a disaster, leaving many fans disappointed with the copy-and-paste-like look of Salman.
The comeback of a star is not something new. SRK made his comeback through ‘Pathaan’, whereas Aamir Khan’s attempt at a comeback with ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ backfired badly.
With Sikandar’s key parts, like the teaser and the poster, turning out as disasters, it will be very important for the film to make people believe that it has the potential to become a hit.
It will be interesting to see whether Salman follows SRK’s path, or does he face another disappointment, going the Aamir Khan way.
