Vijayawada: NTR district police recovered 372 lost and stolen mobile phones valued at approximately 60 lakh and returned them to their rightful owners. The recovered devices were handed over by police commissioner S V Rajasekhara Babu during an official event held at the Command Control Center in Vijayawada. According to the commissioner, a mobile phone recovery drive was conducted using the Central Equipment Identity Register (CEIR) portal. This marks the fourth phase of the recovery initiative, with authorities previously returning thousands of mobile phones to the public.TNN
