The MG Comet Blackstorm Edition is now on sale in India. This special edition is based on the top-end Exclusive variant, priced at Rs 7.80 lakh plus battery rental of Rs 2.5 per km. Price without the BaaS Service is yet to be revealed. Bookings for the Comet Blackstorm are opened nationwide at an initial sum of Rs 11,000. This special edition has been painted in a ‘Starry Night’ colour scheme with red accents around the fog lamps, the front bumper and skid plate. It has MG badging on the bonnet and a ‘Blackstorm’ badge on the fender. The side profile is enhanced by all-black wheel covers for the steel wheels, featuring a red star-like pattern on them.
While the dashboard theme remains unchanged (White and Grey), the seats get new black upholstery with contrast red stitching and ‘Blackstorm’ badges on the headrests. No other changes have been made to its interior. The MG Comet Blackstorm comes with the features such as a 4-speaker sound system, manual AC, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch driver’s display, multiple airbags, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, rear parking camera with sensors, hill hold assist, tyre pressure monitoring system and more.
Similar to the regular version, the MG Comet Blackstorm edition uses a 17.3kWh battery pack and an electric motor producing power worth 42bhp and 110Nm of torque. This small electric car is claimed to deliver an MIDC range of 230km on a single charge.
