NIA to go deeper into illegal Bangla migrants’ racket

Hyderabad: A couple of days after Hyderabad police arrested 18 persons, including illegal migrants from Bangladesh, NIA officials have intensified vigil on all such illegal migrants who were overstaying in Hyderabad.

Sources said that NIA officials have started collecting details of migrants from Bangladesh and how they had entered Hyderabad. The officials will verify details of all those who reportedly paid Rs 20,000 each to middlemen for arranging forged identity proof in West Bengal, based on which they came to Hyderabad.

NIA officials suspect that the accused lured women on the pretext of ensuring livelihood and pushed them into flesh trade in Hyderabad. The officials reportedly asked Hyderabad police to submit details of the accused, women and others who are illegally staying at different places in Hyderabad.

A few days back, task force sleuths conducted raids at Khairatabad and Chaderghat and arrested 18 persons for running a brothel. Those arrested in Chaderghat included Rajat Mandal, Jalil Sardar, Bisti Gazi, Kamarul Sheikh, Mohd Rony Khan, Mahbur Sardar, Arohi Mandal, and Mohd Bilal Riza Ul Shaik. In Khairatabad, police arrested Ajarul Sekh, Rahul Shariful Shaikh, Rohit Mandal, Ritoy Islam, Mousomi Shaik, Babu Shaik and Shathi Akther.

The NIA is likely to file a fresh FIR in connection with the incident and probe the case further.
