Hyderabad: For any queries, intermediate students can contact the toll-free helpline at 040-29700934, said Hyderabad district revenue officer E. Venkatachari on Friday. As the exams will be held from 9 am to 12 noon, students have been advised to reach their exam centres by 8 am, considering the city’s traffic conditions.
He directed officials to make necessary arrangements for the Intermediate Public Examinations (IPE), scheduled to be held from March 5 to 25.
At a meeting here on Friday, he stated that the exams would be conducted at 244 centres in Hyderabad, with 1,79,218 students appearing — 85,753 from the first year and 93,465 from the second year.
Venkatachari emphasised that all exam centres should be equipped with essential facilities such as drinking water, toilets, proper sanitation, adequate furniture and medical assistance. As the exams will be held from 9 am to 12 noon, students have been advised to reach their exam centres by 8 am, considering the city’s traffic conditions.
To enhance security and maintain transparency, CCTV cameras will be installed at all exam centres. Critical activities, such as unsealing question paper covers and sealing answer scripts, will be monitored through CCTV surveillance.
The meeting was attended by district intermediate education officer D. Oddenna, chief superintendents, departmental officers and other officials.
