Rakul Preet Singh has been mediocre on the large screen over the years and her performances have been certainly not worth the mark in recent times as well.
With her most recent disaster Mere Husband Ki Biwi, her filmography has been a collection of utter flops. While some of her projects like De De Pyaar De and Doctor G worked well enough, her remaining projects have been disastrous at the box office.

After her repetitive losses and flops, it was shocking to see that Rakul Preet got Mere Husband Ki Biwi. The film flopped at the box office and is nearing 10 crores in collection, which is pathetic.
As reports suggest, Rakul Preet Singh is in talks with Ramesh Taurani for his upcoming franchise film Race 4. Sharing the screen alongside Saif Ali Khan, who has performed phenomenally in two of the three installments, it might be a risky move to take Rakul Preet.

While there is no confirmation yet, Rakul’s performance over the years might not be beneficial for the franchise. As she is currently busy in filming De De Pyaar De 2, it would be underwhelming to see her ruin another film with Race 4.
As Rakul Preet Singh fails to draw audiences with her recent performances, it remains to be seen if something will change for her with her upcoming releases.
