Hyderabad: GHMC commissioner K Ilambarithi said that the Swachh Survekshan team will commence their assessment of the city from Monday, continuing their evaluation through the third week of March.
The team prepared circle-wise handbooks containing detailed ward-level information of assessment locations. These include residential and commercial areas, bulk waste generator listings, public facilities (toilets and urinals), recreational spaces (parks and gardens), water bodies, tourist attractions, educational establishments, drainage systems, and C&D waste secondary collection points.
The Assistant Medical Officers of Health (AMOH) instructed Deputy Executive Engineers (DEE) to maintain the register of the last 3 months’ user charges for SAT vehicles, public toilet maintenance of cleaning schedule, user charges log book, and feedback register.
Instructions were given to all AMOHs and DEEs to prioritise cleanliness standards. Additionally, the commissioner instructed officials to ensure a comprehensive collection of citizens’ feedback through a collective initiative.
