Adilabad: Eight policemen and women from the district bagged 10 medals in different categories at the third State-level police games and sports meet concluded in Karimnagar recently.
They were felicitated by Superintendent of Police Gaush Alam here on Monday.
A Rupa, a constable of Jainath police station won the gold medal in yoga, while P Meer Singh from Adilabad quick reaction team clinched bronze medal in wrestling.
Other winners included K Mukhesh Kumar, A Ruchita, Md Nasimuddin, P Puja and M Rohini working with different wings of the police department.
Gaush advised other policemen and women to draw inspiration from the winners of the medals and to excel in their favourite sports.
