Hyderabad: The Southeast Zone Task Force police on Tuesday arrested Ali Bin Mahmood Jabri, a notorious history-sheeter and habitual offender. Jabri, who had been evading authorities and skipping court appearances, was arrested with 11 non-bailable warrants pending against him.
The 32-year-old resident of Ismail Nagar, Bandlaguda, is facing charges in 21 cases in Hyderabad and Rachakonda commissionerates. His criminal record includes serious offences such as land grabbing, cheating, forgery, criminal intimidation and attempt to murder.
According to the police, cases against Jabri have been registered in several police stations, including Bandlaguda, Chandrayangutta, Kamatipura and Pahadishareef. His deliberate avoidance of court proceedings led to the issuance of several non-bailable arrest warrants. The accused has been taken into custody and will be prosecuted in the pending cases.
