Despite a star-driven movie, Vidaamuyarchi failed to generate buzz after its OTT release, and some people who watched it on OTT too were sharing negative responses to the movie.

Also, some netizens were sharing troll memes, mentioning Vidaamuyarchi as a sleep fest and terming it one of the worst biggies of Kollywood in the past few months.
Netflix India has earned a huge viewership with South Indian movies following Dulquer Salman’s Lucky Bhaskar’s success, which trended on the OTT platform for a long period.

Despite a temporary setback with Vidaamuyarchi, Netflix India is generally experiencing significant growth and success, particularly with South Indian movies, and also has a strong lineup of South Indian movies in the future.
