Telangana: Two persons taken into custody in Bandlaguda murder case

Hyderabad: The Bandlaguda police took into custody the wife and step son of Mohd Masiuddin, who was murdered on Tuesday at a house in Crystal Township.

Masiuddin, had gone to the house of his third wife, Shabana whom he had married 12 years ago on Tuesday. In the evening, Masiuddin’s was found murdered in the house.


“The assailants had tied Masiuddin’s hands and legs before slitting his throat with a knife. After ensuring he had died they fled away from the place,” said ACP Chandrayangutta, K Manoj Kumar.

The murder came to light in the evening after Masiuddin was not answering phone calls. His relatives came to Bandlaguda house and found his car parked outside the building but the door of the house was locked. After breaking open the door they found the body in the hall in the house.

The relatives of Masiuddin suspect the hand of Shabana and step son Sameer and another person Fareed in the murder. On a complaint, the police took into custody Shabana and Sameer while Fareed is absconding.

The police are also probing the role of an advocate and local leader in the case after allegations that they had helped and encouraged Shabana. They suspect that the murder is a result of property dispute and also an extramarital affair involving Fareed.
