Ultraviolette, a Bengaluru-based electric two-wheeler manufacturer, has introduced its first electric scooter in India – the Ultraviolette Tesseract. This e-scooter comes in three variants – Tesseract 3.5, Tesseract 5 and Tesseract 6 – priced from Rs 1,45,000. The first 10,000 customers can purchase it at an introductory price of Rs 1,20,000 (ex-showroom). Buyers have three colour choices – Solar White, Desert Sand, Sonic Pink and Stealth Black.
Ultraviolette Tesseract – Delivery dates
While the bookings for the electric scooter are already on, the deliveries are set to start sometime in the first quarter of 2026. And we hope they increase their network to newer cities to be able to attract more buyers as the product looks good and has the potential to help the brand increase its market share. Just to remind you again, the 1.20 Lacs is the introductory price and only first 10,000 customers will be able to avail that price.

Ultraviolette Tesseract – Battery, Range
Coming to powertrain, the base variant of the e-scooter uses a 3.5kWh battery pack promising a claimed IDC (Indian Driving Cycle) range of 162km. The mid and top variants come with a 5kWh and a 6kWh battery pack, delivering an electric range of 220km and 261km, respectively. The power output of both these variants stands at 15kW.
All three variants of the Tesseract are capable to do 0 to 60kmph in 2.9 seconds, and offer a maximum speed of 125kmph. The two-wheeler maker says that its electric scooter takes less than 1 hour to get charge from 0 to 80 percent through a fast charger.
Ultraviolette Tesseract – Features
The new Ultraviolette electric scooter is the first model in its segment to come with the cruise control, smart mirrors and radar tech offering lane change assist, blind spot detection and collision alerts. It has two dashcams, fitted both at the front and rear of the scooter. It also features a 7-inch TFT display that supports Google maps navigation, a feature that was available on Athers so far. The smartphone connectivity will also allow its riders to get access to ride analytics, call & SMS alerts, location tracking, etc.
Other features include bi-projector headlights + LED DRLs, front & rear disc brakes, 14-inch alloys with 110-section front and 140-section rear tyres. The storage is quite decent too with a 34-litre under-seat space, making it one of the only few scooters that can accomodate a full-face helmet.
