NTR Memorial Trust (NTRMT) managing trustee Nara Bhuvaneswari laid the foundation for constructing the Trust building in Teachers Colony here on Thursday. On the occasion, she said the Trust has so far undertaken various service activities from Hyderabad, and it would henceforth make the services more accessible to the people from Vijayawada.
She stated that Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu advised the NTRMT to work with public service as the ultimate goal. Accordingly, the Trust had been fulfilling its responsibilities with the utmost sincerity. Construction of the new building was targeted to be completed by February 2026. Apart from the NTRMT office, the building would have a blood bank and a centre for helping thalassemia patients.
Ms. Bhuvaneswari said the great response evoked by the Euphoria Musical Night, which was organized by NTRMT, inspired it to render services with greater commitment. She said the NTRMT would soon establish thalassemia centers in Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Tirupati and Rajahmundry, and they would be operational around the clock.
The NTRMT, which came into existence 28 years ago with a service motto, would continue to help the needy with due support from philanthropists, Ms. Bhuvaneswari asserted, while giving an overview of the services rendered by the Trust. Vijayawada MP Kesineni Sivanath was among the guests present.
