Hyderabad: A large snake gave a scare to students of govt junior college in Tandur, Vikarabad, on Wednesday when it fell from the tree into the classroom.
The incident took place when the students were preparing to enter their exam hall on the second (top) floor of the building. “Trees surround the building, we suspect the snake fell from there,” said an official.
“Fortunately, no one was in the classroom when it happened. The snake was only discovered when students entered,” he added.
The college authorities acted quickly to ensure the safety of the students. Despite the initial panic, the situation was quickly brought under control. “The exam went on without any disruption,” the official said. tnn
