Three persons were killed and 22 passengers suffered injuries in a road accident on Eluru outskirts on Thursday (March 6, 2025).
The mishap occurred when a speeding private travels bus hit a lorry near Chodimalla bridge in the early hours. The bus was proceeding from Hyderabad to Kakinada, the police said.
The injured were admitted in a private hospital and the bodies were preserved at the Eluru Government Hospital mortuary.
The Eluru Rural police registered a case. The identity of the persons who died are yet to be known.
