In less than two months, Trump administration has been bringing a lot of changes related to immigration, policies, trade and travel.
In yet another move, Trump is reportedly planning to launch a travel ban on Pakistanis and Afghans from entering the US.
The new travel ban could get into effect as soon as next week based on a government review of countries’ security and vetting risks.
Trump during his first term, banned travelers from seven majority-Muslim nations. The policy went through several versions before the Supreme Court approved it in 2018.
Former US President Joe Biden repealed the ban in 2021. The new ban could affect thousands of Afghans who have been in the US as refugees or on Special Immigrant Visas.
