Hyderabad: A woman, reportedly in an intoxicated state, created a ruckus near the Kukatpally Housing Board (KPHB) metro station on Thursday night.
The woman, who was driving a car, was involved in a collision with a bike. According to police, two women were in the car when they reached the area near the metro station. One of them who was at the wheel hit a bike, prompting the bike owner to confront her. However, the two women allegedly responded rudely, escalating the situation.
When onlookers at the busy stretch intervened, the women reportedly became argumentative.
Cops arrived at the scene and conducted a blood alcohol count test on the woman driver.
Despite initial resistance, the test revealed a blood alcohol content (BAC) of 212 mg/100 ml, well above the legal limit. As a result, police filed a case against her for drunk driving.
