The summer of 2025 is shaping up to be a pivotal season for the top Kollywood actors Vikram, Ajith Kumar, and Suriya, as their most anticipated movies were lined up for a grand theatrical release.
First, Vikram has been going through a rough phase for the past few years as most of his recently released movies haven’t performed well in the box office collections and need a comeback.

Now, his most anticipated movie, Veera Dheera Sooran Part 2, is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on March 27th.

After the disaster, Vidaamuyarchi, Ajith Kumar is returning this summer with Good Bad Ugly, directed by Adhik Ravichandran, which is going to be released on April 10.
The teaser of this movie was released a few days ago and fueled the expectations amongst the audiences.

Finally, Suriya, after the terrible setback from Kanguva, is returning with the most anticipated movie, Retro, directed by Karthik Subbaraj, which is gearing up for a worldwide theatrical release on May 1st.
Since its announcement, Retro has a huge expectations among the audiences, and so far, whatever the team has released from the movie, including the teaser, poster, and the first single, has received positive responses from the audiences and looks promising.
With all these three actors, Vikram, Ajith Kumar, and Suriya returning after disasters, it remains to be seen whether these most anticipated movies of theirs releasing this summer will become blockbuster successes and help them to make a solid comeback.
