This time, I was happy to see that a lot of Fiats, Jeeps and even an Amby and a Standard showed up.

Bhpian sanidhya mukund recently shared this with other enthusiasts:

Visited the 58th Edition of the Statesman Vintage and Classic Car Rally held at Major Dhyan Chand Stadium, New Delhi on the 2nd of March 2025. This is perhaps the oldest vintage car related event in India, having been consistently held every year since 1964 (except 1971 due to the war, 1973, due to the fuel crisis and of course, the COVID years).

The cars drove along a predetermined route of about 40 KM, before culminating at the stadium, where the award ceremony was held. The participants are divided into four categories: Vintage, Classic, Post-war and ‘Other’.

This time, I was happy to see that a lot of Fiats, Jeeps and even an Amby and a Standard showed up. While it is a joy to see the exotic cars with high historic significance and high monetary worth, it is even more joyful to see these relatable old cars that our grandparents and parents once drove.
