The Neural AI Governance 2025 Summit, organised in Hyderabad by the Bharat Lighthouse Foundation in collaboration with Genesis Info X, brought together thought leaders to discuss the growing role of artificial intelligence (AI) in governance.

Founder and National President of BC DAL, Dundra Kumaraswamy, in his address, highlighted that AI is not just a tool for technological advancement but a critical factor in the nation’s progress, impacting sectors such as education, employment and healthcare. He highlighted how AI is already proving its worth, citing a recent instance where Kerala police solved a long-pending case with the help of AI. However, he also warned against its misuse, particularly in cases like the morphing of women’s photographs, stressing the need for strict regulations to prevent such exploitation.

“AI is like a coin with two sides, it has both immense potential and inherent risks. If used responsibly, it can transform governance, education and public services. But if misused, it can create serious ethical and security challenges. The need of the hour is responsible AI governance,” one of the speakers remarked.
