After scoring a massive success with Pushpa 2, Allu Arjun is taking it slow. He’s got enough time to analyze and pick a director for his next. Although he would be dedicatedly working with director Trivikram Srinivas, he is also in talks with Atlee. The star director is also reportedly brewing a multi-starrer subject for Allu Arjun, considering their market at the pan-India level.
Initially, he was set to work with Trivikram Srinivas, but delays led to Atlee stepping in. While there has been no official announcement, several leaks suggest that the story was initially pitched to Salman Khan as a multi-starrer. However, due to budget concerns, it was later offered to Allu Arjun, as the producers felt he could bring strong market appeal while keeping costs manageable.
Meanwhile, buzz from Kollywood suggests that Atlee is looking to cast Siva Karthikeyan alongside Allu Arjun. If this happens, it would be a massive deal for both the Telugu and Tamil markets. Atlee has reportedly written powerful sequences involving two heroes and believes that only actors with a strong fan base can do justice to them.
While these details continue to circulate, an official confirmation is yet to come. However, it is now clear that Atlee’s film with Allu Arjun will feature two lead actors. Interestingly, Sivakarthikeyan also earned a fame with his last film Amaran at the pan-India level. It also opened doors to new opportunities. In such a scenario, it is a win-win deal for all parties involved.
However, after the massive success of Pushpa 2, Allu Arjun’s though process will naturally incline towards doing a solo film but to what extent will he prefer the multistarrer has to be seen.
