Hyderabad: Amid rumours regarding the appointment of a new state chief for the Telangana BJP, Malkajgiri MP and senior party leader Eatala Rajender met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi on Monday. Eatala, accompanied by his family, also met Speaker Om Prakash Birla during this visit. This meeting sparked further discussions within the party, as Eatala is considered a strong contender for the position of Telangana BJP chief. Notably, this meeting occurred just two days after party affairs in-charge Sunil Bansal held discussions with party leaders on various matters. However, sources suggest that the MP’s meeting with the PM may have been more personal than political, as there was no mention of the party chief position during Sunil Bansal’s interactions with the party leaders.
