PAN India star Prabhas’ next theatrical release is The Raja Saab, directed by Maruthi. Generally, top heroes won’t show interest to act in horror movies, which is why The Raja Saab is so special. The film stars Malavika Mohanan and Nidhhi Agerwal as the female leads. In a recent interview with Deccan Chronicle, Nidhhi revealed that she isn’t playing the ghost in this biggie.
The actress said, “It’s a horror romantic comedy, and at the outset, I would like to clarify that I am not the ghost (laughs). The Raja Saab has got to be the most fun set I have ever been on. Working with Prabhas has been one of the best experiences of my life. He is the sweetest, kindest person. I think people are going to be a little bit shocked with what I’m playing.”
In an old interview, Nidhhi Agerwal said that her character in this horror film would be a departure from her typical glamorous roles. Now, her latest statement has increased the excitement around The Raja Saab. TG Vishwa Prasad of People Media Factory is bankrolling this big-ticket entertainer.
Thaman is composing the tunes. The film was initially scheduled to be released on April 10, 2025, but it was postponed for unknown reasons. The new release date is yet to be locked.
