Hopefully I will be emitting less emission compared to Petrol and save some money on mileage / CNG price.
BMPian CARNP recently shared this with other enthusiasts:
Added aftermarket CNG Kit (Motozen – STAG) to my Urban Cruiser 2022 High AT model day before yesterday @ Coimbatore for 60K. 12KG cylinder is approved for Brezza/Urban Cruiser.
I was able to load only 9 kg, my cousin told me, CNG are better loaded during early morning where the pressure will be more and can hold upto 10KG.
I haven’t seen any difference in the power in city, as I am yet to drive on highway to measure the difference.
When I went to workshop, previous owner of a manual Urban Cruiser came, asked questions on the power, mileage, maintenance etc., He mentioned, definitely there will be difference between Petrol and CNG on power, slight lag when trying to overtake and less RPM on CNG. Maintenance wise he didn’t see any issues. He is getting around 23 km on city and around 26 km on highway for 1 kg CNG.
Hopefully I will be emitting less emission compared to Petrol and save some money on mileage / CNG price. Should take about 3 years to break even the 60K cost (I drive about 10K per year !)
I didn’t see any CNG post on Brezza/Urban Cruiser here and also not much on Youtube. Most of them by the Workshops, hardly any end users. Thought of posting and get some feedback on dos and donts.
Thanks
