
The construction of Amaravati will be completed in 3 years said MAUD Minister Narayana. The Assembly and High Court will also be completed in 3 years, he said. The drains and roads will also be laid in three years, the minister informed.
A total estimation of Rs 64, 721 crore were made for Amaravati and tenders have been completed for various projects. The World Bank and Asia Development Bank will be giving a loan of Rs 13,400 crore. HUDCO will be giving a loan of Rs 11,000 crore. KFW Bank will be giving Rs 500 crore. The Center will be giving Rs 1500 crore as grant for the self-sustaining capital, Narayana shared.

The minister said that in a revengeful act, YSJagan government named the capital zone as R5 zone. He further added that 50,000 people were given a cent land each at the time. The land will be taken back and given at some other place, clarified the Minister.
Due to political uncertainty between 2019-24, capital works were postponed. So, the plotting for farmers will also be done by 2028 after the completion of the capital, he shared.

We are trying to mortgage and lease lands and bring monies. We are also trying to get loans from national and international agencies at low interest rates. With all these measures, we intend to complete the world-class capital city Amaravati, said Narayana.
