Hera Pheri 3 started trending in the headlines after Priyadarshan’s involvement as a director was confirmed some time ago. Notably, the iconic trio, including Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal would return to portray their characters for another time.
Meanwhile, Suniel recently appeared for an interview, addressing his excitement for the third part, saying that Priyadarshan is the best person to helm the film since he can understand comedy considering his writing abilities.

Suniel also confirmed that Priyadarshan is also working on the script at the same time apart from directing the film, and although Suniel did not disclose a lot of details about the main storyline, he said that Hera Pheri 3 will emerge as a blockbuster.
Since Priyadarshan is busy with Bhooth Bangla, which features Akshay Kumar in the lead, filming for Hera Pheri 3 is reportedly starting in December this year.

Bhooth Bangla’s post-production will be done by June 2025 and Priyadarshan will spend the next few months improvising the script.
This also means that the film will possibly arrive by next year since Hera Pheri will possibly not be a high-budget film that will need a lot of work on VFX and other things.

However, Priyadarshan’s last few films have not been so successful, specifically after the COVID-19 pandemic. For now, Hera Pheri 3 is the only way out for him to bounce back.
But the third part will work only if Priyadarshan has prepared the script in a way that it can appeal to the audiences of today’s world. Moreover, the jokes have to be funny enough so that they make people laugh inside theatres, repeating the aura of the first two films.
The promotional material is undoubtedly coming sometime in 2026 and only that will decide if the film turns out to be a blockbuster as per Suniel’s prediction.
