Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) has been recognised as the ‘Best Airport in the 15 to 25 Million Passengers Per Annum (MPPA)’ category in the Asia-Pacific region for 2024. The award comes from the Airports Council International (ACI) as part of its annual Airport Service Quality (ASQ) survey, which assesses passenger satisfaction across more than 400 airports worldwide, said a release from the airport.

The ASQ programme is regarded as the global benchmark for measuring airport service quality. It evaluates over 30 key performance indicators through real-time passenger feedback, covering aspects such as check-in efficiency, security screening, and overall airport ambiance.

Pradeep Panicker, CEO of GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd., said, “Our ongoing investments in advanced technology and innovative approaches aim to transform travel into remarkable memories.”
