The shooting of Rajinikanth’s most anticipated movie, Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, is now happening at a fast pace. Rajinikanth has completed the shooting of his portions, with only the patchwork scenes still pending.
According to reports, the Coolie team is in confusion about locking the movie’s release date. Initially, the team had planned to release the movie on August 14. However, on the same day, the highly anticipated pan-Indian movie War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan and NTR, is also releasing.

Now, the Coolie team is planning to postpone the movie’s release to either September or Diwali because Coolie was made with a huge budget, and the team is expecting a solo release.
At the same time, many Kollywood biggies, including Suriya 45, are waiting for Coolie’s release date confirmation for their own scheduling. If Coolie releases on Diwali, then Suriya 45, which was initially planned for a Diwali release, might get postponed.
