Ajith Kumar’s Vidaamuyarchi, directed by Magizh Thirumeni, which was released in theatres on February 6th, received negative responses from the audiences and ended up as a terrible disaster.

Now, the movie is streaming on the Netflix OTT platform in 5 languages, such as Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam, from March 3rd.
According to Netflix’s last week, March 3rd to March 9th, the Global Top 10 Non-English Film Trending List, Ajith Kumar’s Vidaamuyarchi has sealed the 7th position, while Balakrishna’s Daaku Maharaj, which was trending till the end of February month, was out from the list.

Even though Vidaamuyarchi is receiving negative responses from OTT audiences, Ajith Kumar’s star power still holds the movie to receive a considerable amount of views on Netflix OTT.
Vidaamuyarchi is the least-grossing movie for Ajith Kumar in the past 10 years, and after its OTT release too, there wasn’t any buzz for the movie.

Nevertheless, after the failure of Vidaamuyarchi, Ajith Kumar is returning with Good Bad Ugly on April 10th. It remains to be seen whether Good Bad Ugly becomes a blockbuster success and helps Ajith Kumar to make a comeback from Vidaamuyarchi’s setback.
