The Tamil blockbuster Dragon, released in Telugu as Return of the Dragon, has become a major box office success under the direction of Ashwin Maruthu, grossing over Rs. 125 crore. Starring Pradeep Ranganath in the lead role, the film captivated audiences with its gripping narrative and powerful performances.
In a recent interview, Ashwin Maruthu shared an interesting behind-the-scenes detail about the casting process. He initially selected Kayadu Lohar, who has been trending on social media for her beauty since the movie was released, to play the role of Keerthi. However, he later changed his decision and cast Anupama Parameswaran instead. This shift led to Kayadu Lohar taking on the role of Pallavi, where she mesmerised audiences with both her acting and screen presence.
Produced by AGS Entertainment, Dragon features a strong supporting cast, including Mysskin, Gautham Vasudev Menon, and KS Ravi Kumar. The film’s music, composed by Leon James, has also been well-received. Fans can look forward to its digital release, with Netflix expected to stream the movie in multiple languages, including Telugu, though an official confirmation is awaited.
