Tata Harrier EV Interior – First Look, Features & Details

The Tata Harrier EV is all set to go on sale in the coming months. Ahead of its official arrival, the carmaker has released a teaser giving us a few bites of its interior. The teaser shows the same 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system seen in its ICE version. This unit is likely to have EV-specific graphics. The electric SUV also has a four-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo and a digital instrument cluster borrowed from the ICE-powered Harrier.

Similar to the regular Harrier, the electric Tata Harrier will have a dual-tone cabin theme with a centre console featuring a stubby drive selector and a rotary dial, a touch-based HVAC panel, an electronic parking brake and a panoramic sunroof. The Harrier EV will support V2V (vehicle-to-vehicle) and V2L (vehicle-to-load) charging along with the cloud-connected telematics, OTA (over-the-air updates), connected car tech and new terrain modes.

As an electric SUV, the Harrier will feature a closed-off grille, revised bumper featuring sharper lines and connected LED DRLs at the front end. The headlamps and fog lamps seem to be carried forward from the regular version. The new aero-optimized 5-spoke alloy wheels will replace the regular alloys. Design elements such as the ‘EV’ badges, a massive rear bumper, sliver skid plate, connected LED taillamps, a shark fin antenna and a roof mounted rear spoiler will further enhance its looks.

The battery capacity, power and torque figures are yet to be revealed. However, Tata has confirmed that this electric SUV will offer a maximum torque of 500Nm. Its range is expected to be over 500km.
