
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, along with Congress MPs, called on External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar in New Delhi on Thursday. Former Union Minister Salman Khurshid is also seen.
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has urged the Central Government to extend all kinds of support to the Telangana Government in the implementation of its programmes and several initiatives that have been taken to put the State on top in the next 25 years.
The Chief Minister, currently in New Delhi, called on External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar on Thursday, and sought his cooperation in fulfilling the State’s aspirations to lead the country.
He briefed the Union Minister about prestigious international events such as Miss World contest, Deep Tech Summit, Bharat Summit, Animation, Gaming, VFX as well as India Joy, being organised in Hyderabad this year. These events would showcase the potential of Telangana as the hub of the entertainment industry.
He wanted Mr. Jaishankar to extend his support to the State Government in organising these international events successfully for promoting the “Telangana Rising” concept. He also wanted the External Affairs Minister to extend cooperation in diplomatic relations and logistical assistance for the success of the planned programmes.
Mr. Jaishankar appreciated Mr. Revanth Reddy for his initiatives that placed Telangana among the fast developing States and assured his cooperation in organising the events.
