CM seeks Centre’s support for Telangana’s global events

Hyderabad: Chief minister A Revanth Reddy urged external affairs minister S Jaishankar to provide support to the Telangana govt in organising key events and initiatives aimed at making Telangana a leader in the next 25 years.
In a meeting in Delhi on Thursday, the CM briefed Jaishankar on major upcoming international events in Hyderabad, including the Global Deep Tech Summit, Bharat Summit, Animation Gaming, VFX, and India Joy, all scheduled for 2025. These events will highlight Telangana as a hub for the entertainment industry.
Revanth asked Jaishankar to support the ‘Telangana Rising’ initiative by helping to promote and successfully organise these global events in the state. He also requested the Union minister’s assistance in enhancing diplomatic relations and providing logistical support for the success of these programmes.
Jaishankar praised Telangana’s rapid development and assured his cooperation in facilitating the successful hosting of these international events in Hyderabad.
The meeting was attended by former EAM Salman Khurshid, MPs Mallu Ravi and Ch Kiran Kumar Reddy, and Rajya Sabha member Anil Kumar Yadav.
