Maximum temperatures may reach 44 degree Celsius everyday between Friday and Monday

Hyderabad: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD)-Hyderabad on Thursday in its five-day forecast has issued an orange alert for several districts of Telangana where maximum temperatures have the potential to consistently reach a maximum for 44 degree Celsius everyday between Friday and Monday.
While temperatures in Hyderabad will hover between 36 degree Celsius and 40 degree Celsius for the next four to five days, temperatures in districts including Adilabad, Jagital, Kumram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad and Rajanna Sircilla, where the alert has been issued, will hover between 41 degree Celsius and 44 degree Celsius, IMD forecast said.
On Thursday, maximum temperature in Hyderabad was 38 degree Celsius while several districts experienced temperatures ranging up to 40 degree Celsius. “Dry weather is very likely to prevail over the State. Mist/Hazy conditions likely to prevail during morning hours at isolated pockets over Telangana during next 3 days. Maximum Temperatures are likely to rise gradually by 2-4 degree C during next 3 days,” the IMD-Hyderabad its forecast on Thursday said.
Based on Telangana Development Planning Society (TDPS) weather data, on Thursday, the maximum temperature in Hyderabad was 38 degree Celsius while temperatures touched 40 degree Celsius in several districts including Nirmal, Adilabad, Kumram Bheem, Bhadradri, Mancherial, Mulugu and Nizamabad.
Weather forecaster from Hyderabad, T Balaji, who tracks changing weather patterns independently and shares his forecast on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), points out that temperatures will continue to rise in Hyderabad and Telangana. “Strong heatwave conditions across Telangana State and Hyderabad. Temperatures are set to further increase in the coming days. The heat wave will further worsen,” Balaji posted.
