A fisherman drowned after getting entangled in a net in Warangal; A woman was murdered by her son-in-law and daughter in Nizamabad; A farmer was electrocuted when he tried to fix an electric motor in his field

Nizamabad: One person died and six others sustained injuries when an auto-rickshaw was hit by a lorry from behind near a petrol pump at Tekriyal bypass road under Kamareddy mandal on Friday. The deceased has been identified as Ankam Narender, the auto driver and native of Kupriyal village under Sadasivanagar mandal.
The injured have been shifted to the government general hospital at Kamareddy. The incident occurred near the petrol pump after the lorry rammed into the autorickshaw and it turned turtle. Seven passengers were travelling in the autorickshaw, according to reports.
Fisherman drowns
Warangal: A fisherman who went for fishing in a tank was drowned after he got entangled in the fishing net in Tallakunta lake in Mylaram village here on Friday. Reports said Bala Venkanna (45) had gone for fishing along with five others in the tank. While others returned home in the evening, he did not. Villagers launched a search and found his body entangled in the fishing net. Police have registered a case and investigation is in progress.
Farmer electrocuted
Bhupalpally: A farmer was electrocuted when he was trying to irrigate his fields with an electric motor in Venkateshwarapalli village of Gorukothapally mandal here on Thursday night. Villagers said the farmer M Ravi (52) fixed an electric pump to the DPM 38 canal of the SRSP, after water was released in the canal. As the motor was not working properly, he got into the canal to remove weeds, but got electrocuted late on Thursday night. Investigation is in progress.
Mason hit by vehicle, dies
Warangal: A mason by profession, Koya Bangaru Babu died after a Bolero vehicle hit his motorcycle near Sangem substation on Friday morning. Babu who sustained serious injuries died while being rushed to a hospital. police said, Babu was a native of Paletipad village in Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh, but was working as a mason in Sangem village. He was returning home from Warangal when the incident happened.
Woman murdered by son-in-law, daughter
Nizamabad: An aged woman was throttled to death allegedly by her daughter and son-in-law in 300 quarters locality here on Thursday night. Police said the victim Vijayalaxmi (58) got a house constructed with her money and registered it in the name of her daughter Soundarya.
The daughter and her husband were living with Vijayalaxmi in the house. While Vijayalaxmi was working in a hotel, her daughter and son-in-law were not employed anywhere. They reportedly developed a grudge against Vijayalaxmi as she was interfering in all domestic matters.
They reportedly throttled her to death and attempted to paint it as a natural death. However, police moved in and found some injuries on the neck of Vijayalaxmi and registered a case of murder. The duo was arrested and remanded in judicial custody.
