40000 km up on my MG Comet EV: A happy ownership experience

Apart from my daily average running being about 100 kms, I have made two trips to Ajmer.

Glad to mention, after owning my Comet for one year, 3 months and 22 days, I have crossed the 40,000 kms milestone with a lot of smiles plastered on my face. Apart from being my daily drive (primary / secondary / tertiary, all aside, its the only car I have. As I pen this down, Puchku has done 40,191 kms.

Apart from my daily average running being about 100 kms, I have made two trips to Ajmer. The first is documented here, the second, ‘work in progress’.

Range seems to be unaffected, as I am getting 200+ kms consistently (without the use to HVAC), since the weather permits so. More than, rather much more than the air-conditioning, I have seen a drastic drop in range while using the heater, for obvious reasons. During the peak summers of the NCR, the AC works flawlessly, chilling the cabin substantially quick.

Monsoons – the concern being fogging up (internally) of the front windshield, which results in constant juggling with the air flow knobs to variate the air flow.

The SOH of the HV battery at 40,000 kms – shall welcome experts to comment.
