The chief minister of Telangana Revanth Reddy has been raring to have a verbal confrontation episode with BRS chief and former chief minister, KCR since the 2023 assembly election. However, this aspiration is not turning to reality.
In the last 15 months, KCR came to the Telangana assembly only twice. Once when he had to take the oath as an MLA in the assembly and the other appearance happened last week when he took part in the opening budget session.
Incidentally, chief minister Revanth Reddy spoke on this matter in the assembly house today, and he took the occasion to irk KCR with his revelation.
Revanth revealed that KCR had come to the assembly only 2 days in the last 15 months but he pocketed a salary of Rs 57 lakh 84 thousand.
“KCR came to the assembly for only 2 days, but in 15 months he received a salary of 57,84,124 lakhs.” Revanth Reddy said in the assembly. The Chief Minister questioned the integrity of the designated opposition leader who is taking the salary, but it is not fulfilling his duty.
Revanth Reddy further instigated KCR to attend the assembly and promised to respect him adequately and make use of his experience whenever needed. However, it appears that KCR is least bothered about the attendance in assembly and the fact that he partook in the session only twice in the last 15 months implies the same.
