AR Rahman was recently hospitalized in Chennai due to dehydration and mild neck discomfort after returning from London.
Following routine tests, doctors confirmed there were no major concerns, and Rahman was discharged the same day.

His son, AR Ameen, shared an update on social media, assuring fans that his father was recovering well and thanked everyone for their prayers and support.
Rahman’s sister, AR Reihana, also dismissed rumors that he was admitted due to chest pain, confirming that it was only dehydration caused by travel fatigue.

Meanwhile, Rahman’s wife, Saira Rahman, addressed media reports about their relationship status. She clarified that while they have separated, they are still legally married and have not filed for divorce.
Saira explained that she chose to live apart due to her ongoing health issues, as she didn’t want her condition to cause Rahman any additional stress.

She emphasized that despite the separation, she continues to pray for his well-being and urged the media to stop referring to her as his “ex-wife.”
In addition, Saira herself faced a health setback recently. She underwent surgery following a medical emergency but is now in recovery.
Her lawyer confirmed her condition is stable and thanked well-wishers for their support during this difficult time.
