A shocking video of a cab driver in Hyderabad playing PUBG, an online mobile game, while driving on a busy road, is grabbing attention on social media. Captured by a passenger in the back seat, the video shows the driver struggling to focus on the road while being fully engrossed in his phone.
In the video, he can be seen using both his hands to play the game. The passenger, fearing for their safety, reportedly voiced concerns about the potential for a serious accident, but according to the video’s caption, the driver dismissed the warnings and continued playing. The video also shows Google Maps running on one phone while the driver plays the game on another smartphone.
The video has amassed over two million views already. indianexpress.com couldn’t independently verify its credibility.

The video ignited a backlash against the cab driver for risking lives, with a user demanding authorities to cancel or ban his driving license. “License cancel/ban from driving,” the user wrote. Another user commented, “The courage of the passenger to still sit in the car filming him.”
“This is something called next level addiction,” a third user said. “Instead making videos get down out of car lodge an complaint on him,” another user commented.
In February, a woman in Bengaluru was spotted using a laptop while driving on a busy road. Recorded by an onlooker in another vehicle, the viral video showed the woman engrossed in her laptop while navigating the busy road. Soon after the video gained traction, City Police swiftly took action and fined the woman.
