Fans of Tollywood stars Nani and Vijay Deverakonda have been entangled in a nasty fan war on social media for the past few weeks. The animosity is touching new heights with each passing day as Nani’s HIT 3 and Vijay’s Kingdom are gearing up for release. And amid such a volatile situation, Nani and Vijay Deverakonda’s cult classic, Yevade Subramanyam, is all set for its re-release on March 21.
Yevade director Nag Ashwin interacted with the media earlier today to promote the movie ahead of its re-release. When the director was asked to respond about the social media war between Nani and Vijay Deverakonda fans, Nag Ashwin quipped, saying that even Nani and Vijay are not aware of any fan wars. “During Yevade, Nani was so supportive of Vijay. They both used to discuss their scenes together. While they both are very ambitious people, they’re also quite happy, easygoing people,” he added.
Even the Yevade Subramanyam team reunion video that was unveiled recently showed how deep a bond both Nani and Vijay Deverakonda share with each other. Whether or not their fans take a cue and end the feud in the coming days remains to be seen.
