Posani Krishna Murali has pushed the blame on to Sakshi for the offensive picture and the press meet where he spoke recklessly about CM Chandrababu Naidu, Pawan Kalyan and Lokesh.
Posani said the Sakshi newspaper people would organize press meets and brief him about what to say during them. He disclosed this during CID Investigation. Posani said he did not think whether what he said was appropriate or not.

A case was filed by Telugu Yuvatha leader Vamsikrishna saying that action must be taking for the morphed images and offensive comments Posani made against Naidu, Pawan Kalyan and Lokesh, on various social media platforms.
A case was filed on October 9, 2024, following which the CID asked for custody of Posani. After the Court approved custody, the CID officials interrogated him from 11am to evening on Tuesday.

The DSP and others asked Posani 32 questions and he is said to have given clear answers for some, while saying ‘he didn’t know’ or ‘doesn’t remember’ for others.
Posani clearly said that people from Sakshi newspaper gave him what to speak and he would do so. He said he didn’t know the names of those who gave the notes though.

Posani said at times, the matter would be given an hour or two hours in advance and he would speak on it.
When asked if anyone told him to post against Chandrababu, Pawan Kalyan and Lokesh, Posani said he would post on his own as the alliance members spoke about him and his family.
When asked about Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy’s involvement, Posani said Sajjala never gave anything for the press meets.
He said the morphed pictures were given by Sakshi staff and he didn’t double check them as they were given by Sakshi.
In the past, Posani said Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy would give the text for press meets. However, he turned back and is now blaming the Sakshi newspaper staff.
