Prabhas’ much-awaited film Raja Saab, initially scheduled for release on April 10, 2025, has been officially delayed. The delay is attributed to incomplete shooting, despite the film being in production for nearly three years. Fans, who were hoping to see a Prabhas film this summer, are now disappointed.
Initially, there was buzz that both Raja Saab and Prabhas’ other film, Fauji, would release this year. However, with Raja Saab facing delays, Fauji’s release in 2025 now seems unlikely.

Directed by Maruthi, Raja Saab is a Horror-commedy featuring Prabhas as Prabhas as Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Riddhi Kumar. Bollywood actor sanjay dutt plays a key role, and Thaman is composing the music.
The new release date is expected to be confirmed soon, with reports suggesting a September release, ahead of the Dasara season.

If this happens, then Prabhas would be competing with Pawan Kalyan’s OG and Balakrishna’s much-hyped Akhanda 2 both of which are confirmed in September, as of now.
Prabhas’ recent films Salaar and Kalki 2898 AD achieved good box office success, raising expectations for Raja Saab to deliver a hat-trick.

If Raja Saab had released this summer, Hanu Raghavapudi’s Fauji would have likely followed in 2025. However, with Raja Saab now pushed to September, Fauji’s release may shift to 2026.
Additionally, Prabhas has Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit lined up, and fans are eagerly awaiting its shooting schedule. While Prabhas’ lineup is packed, uncertainty around release dates continues to keep fans guessing.
